FaZe Banks kommentoi Twitterissä: Sopimus alle 13-vuotiaan H1ghSky1:n kanssa on luodinkestävä

FaZe Clanin ympärillä käytävä keskustelu ei ota laantuakseen. Viimeisimpänä paljastuksena selvisi, että organisaation riveissä pelaava H1ghSky1 on vain 12-vuotias.

Fortnite-pelaajan nuoresta iästä johtuen hänen Twitter- ja Twitch-tilinsä suljettiin. Käyttäjän tulee olla molemmissa palveluissa yli 13-vuotias, ja sama sääntö pätee myös kaikkiin virallisiin Fortnite-turnauksiin.

Nyt FaZe Clanin omistava Richard ”Banks” Bengston on kommentoinut asiaa Twitterissä. Hänen mukaansa organisaatio ei ole rikkonut mitään lakia siitä huolimatta, että H1ghSky oli sopimusta allekirjoittaessaan vain 11-vuotias.

Banksin mukaan organisaatiolla ei ole ollut mitään keinoa kontrolloida pelaajan jokapäiväistä elämää. Tästä syystä H1ghSky1 on ollut vapaa osallistumaan – nuoresta iästään huolimatta – Fortnite-turnauksiin ja suoratoistamaan pelaamistaan Twitchin kautta.

Luonnollisesti seura on ollut tietoinen pelaajan iästä, mutta Banks kertoo H1ghSky1:n vanhempien antaneen siunauksensa sopimuksella ja olleen ”100% ok asian kanssa”.

Omg So are you saying FaZe did not know H1ghsky’s true age? No man... they literally allowed their 11 year old player to stream on twitch and play in the Fortnite World Cup. Not only this, but they lied to the entire community. I don’t think you wanna make a bet.

“Allowed Highsky to steam and play in the World Cup” what ru even saying dude? I’ve ignored and ignored you but it’s starting to get annoying. 1) Highskys agreement with us is bulletproof and there’s absolutely no laws being broken. 2) We have 0 control in what he does everyday

You have no control in him playing in the World Cup? If my player signed to my org was 11 and playing in an event that you need to be 13 in, I’d step in and stop it, but hey you’re not at fault at all. Not like you lied to your entire community about his age or anything huh?

So the fuck what? Highsky was doing his own thing, streaming/ playing before we came in the picture. We loved him, brought him in and just supported what he was doing. If his parents are 100% ok with it and they’ve made the decision as a family to do that, who the fuck am I?
